PURPOSE:To continue an analyzing processing without interruption even when non-registered words is present on a document to be improved and to realize the high speed of the processing in a polishing sentence supporting system by which a part whose grammar is erroneous in an English sentence or the like can be searched and indicated. CONSTITUTION:A free mark by which arbitrary words including the non- registered words can be handled as a terminal mark, is introduced into the syntax rule of a dictionary 2 for analysis, and the entire words in the document to be analyzed applied from a document input part 1 are retrieved from the dictionary 2 for analysis by a document analyzing part 3. Then, the words which are not retrieved are used as the non-registered words. When a keyword is retrieved, a sentence including the keyword is analyzed by using the syntax rule, and when the non-registered words is present on the sentence, the free mark is assigned to the non-registered words, so that the error of the sentence including the keyword can be detected. |
