METHOD FOR RELEASING GASEOUS CARBON DIOXIDE

PURPOSE:To efficiently release gaseous CO2 from dialkyl dicarbonate which adsorbes gaseous CO2 and to regenerate the carbon dioxide gas adsorbent by introducing inert gas into the dialkyl dicarbonate which adsorbs gaseous CO2. CONSTITUTION:When dialkyl dicarbonate which adsorbs gaseous CO2 is to be reused as a carbon dioxide gas adsorbent, the gaseous CO2 is efficiently released by introducing an inert gas into the dialkyl dicarbonate. The inert gas is such a gas which does not react with the dialkyl dicarbonate, and for example, helium gas, nitrogen gas, argon gas, etc., is used. The temp. to release gaseous CO2 by using this inert gas is spoecified, for example, to the range from -70 deg.C to 10 deg.C to suppress decomposition of dialkyl dicarbonate and to efficiently release gaseous CO2.
