PURPOSE:To heighten the sticking strengths of upper and lower halves and to prevent a damage to a magnetic tape caused by burrs by sticking the tip part of a projected rib provided inside the outer peripheral wall of one half to the flat surface section of the other half so that they come into contact. CONSTITUTION:This cassette is provided with a projected rib 10 whose tip part comes into contact with the flat surface section of the other half when the tip parts of the outer peripheral walls 9 and 9 of upper and lower halves 6 and 7 are brought into contact with the inside of the outer peripheral wall 9 of at least either half of the upper and lower halves and the tip part of the projected rib 10 is stuck to the flat surface 8 of the other half. Thus, the connecting strengths of the upper and lower halves 6 and 7 are heightened by the projected rib 10, the generation of burrs on the inner and outer peripherals between the outer peripheral walls 9 and 9 of the upper and lower halves 6 and 7 is supressed and the damage to the magnetic tape by burrs is prevented. |
