The stacking steamer-pan consists of a steam-generator pan (1) on which is placed a steamer with perforated base (3), and lid. The ID of the steam-generator pan edge is the same as that of the steamer. The steamer-pan lower part has an outward-pointing ridge (5) on which the steamer rim stands. Beneath the ridge is an inward-pointing ridge (6) on which the first perforated base stands. The base OD and the steamer ID enable the base to fit into the steamer, and to rest on the ridge whose ID is smaller than the base. The base has a conical intermediate foot (7) with a larger dia. at the top than at the bottom. Two thermally insulated grips (8) are for holding. USE/ADVANTAGE - The steam-generator pan used as an ordinary cooking-pan when not required for steaming.
