The silk screen printing machine has a roller (7) which presses the strip of material (W) against the stencil (11) which is mounted on the frame. The frame (1) has an attached toothed rack (10) which is driven alternately forwards and backwards by means of gear wheels (3, 4) with the gear wheel (4) being driven by an oscillating toothed quadrant (8). The toothed quadrant is driven from a rotating crankshaft (88) and a connecting rod (18). The gear wheel drives the roller through a gear train (5, 6) which is so designed that the peripheral speed of the roller is equal to the linear speed of the stencil. ADVANTAGE - The pattern on the stencil is transferred accurately to the material.
