PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently execute editing due to plural persons in charge by separately managing and respectively independently editing child drawings and a parent drawing when handling the parent drawing composed of plural child drawings. SOLUTION: In a CAD system 1, the parent drawing is managed by a parent drawing information managing means 11 and the child drawings are managed by a child drawing information managing means 10 so that the drawings can be respectively independently managed. Then, an editing means 12 performs processing for respectively independently editing the child drawings managed by the child drawing information managing means 10 and the parent drawing managed by the parent drawing information managing means 11. Further, the editing means 12 performs processing for editing the child drawings managed by the child drawing information managing means 10 by displaying the child drawing, which is managed by the child drawing information managing means 10, to be linked with the parent drawing on the parent drawing at the time of displaying that parent drawing and by editing that displayed child drawing. Thus, when plural persons are in charge of editing, that editing can be efficiently executed.
