The radio-transmission system includes at least one central station (RA or RB) and at least one satellite station (M1,..., M7) situated in a zone of coverage (ZA, ZB) of the principal station in which the central station can send it information over a down transmission path (FRAM) whilst a transmission path is used so that the satellite stations are enabled to transmit. In order to establish a group call from a requesting station, the central station allocates a group call channel to the requesting station so that the exchange of information can be carried out directly between the mobile stations involved in the group call.
