PURPOSE:To manufacture a joint sheet possessing high strength which is as good as mechanical strength or sealing capacity as compared with the mechanical strength or sealing capacity to be possessed by a conventional asbestos joint sheet and compression memory necessary as a gasket, by making use of a fiber other than the asbestos. CONSTITUTION:A mixture obtained by mixing up at least two kinds of choplike fibers which are comprised of the first fiber group of a comparatively incorruptible fiber and the second fiber group of a comparatively flexible fiber and combined with each other by selecting respectively out of the first fiber group and second fiber group and only the second fiber group, synthetic rubber or natural rubber dissolved into an organic solvent, rubber chemicals and a filler with each other is loaded between a cold roll and heated roll, the mixture is lamination-molded on the heated roll and made into a product. In the choplike fiber, a mean diameter of a single fiber is 0.1-50mum, a mean length is 0.1-10mm and this is a manufacture of a joint sheet where it contains at least 50% of the whole fiber volume. |
