PURPOSE:To obtain the ultrasonic probe for coelomic use with which a desired tomographic image is obtd. by rotating an ultrasonic vibrator transducer and which can be easily operated. CONSTITUTION:A permanent magnet 28 mounted with the ultrasonic vibrator transducer which transmits and receives ultrasonic waves is freely movably disposed within the space constituted of a film-like member 22 and a base 20. Further, a permanent magnet 32 is freely rotatably disposed in the position where the permanent magnet 28 and the base 20 are clamped. A wire 38 which turns the permanent magnet 32 is provided. To make ultrasonic diagnosis, the ultrasonic probe is inserted into the body cavity of a patient and the ultrasonic waves are transmitted and received from a vibrator transducer part 14 to obtain the tomographic image of the part to be inspected within the body cavity. A dial is then turned while viewing the resulted tomographic image, by which a pulley 34 is turned via a wire 38 and the permanent magnet 28 magnetically stuck to the permanent magnet 32 turning integrally with a pulley 34 is turned. As a result, the vibrator transducer 30 is integrally turned with the permanent magnet 28 as well and the scanning direction of the vibrator transducer 30 is changed arbitrarily, by which the desired tomographic image is obtd. |
