PURPOSE:To obtain an ultrasonic flaw detecting method in which small surface waves are used and no dead zone is produced and a probe device the probe of which can withstand a high temperature and is not damaged when the ultrasonic flaw detecting method is executed. CONSTITUTION:An acoustical dividing surface 7 is formed in the same plane with another acoustical dividing surface 6 on the lower surface of a two-vibrator type probe 2 which has two vibrators 4 and 5 and the center of which is divided by means of the surface 6. Ultrasonic waves generated when the vibrator 4 oscillates are received by the vibrator 5 after they are reflected by each part of an object H to be inspected and, as a result, flaw detecting waveforms are recorded. |
