The invention relates to substituted decarestrictins of the formula I <IMAGE> where R<1> denotes a mono- or disaccharide, a hydroxyl, formyl or carbonyl group, -O-alkyl, -O-alkenyl, -O-C(O)-alkyl, -O-C(O)-alkenyl or -O-C(O)-phenyl in which the phenyl radical can be substituted, R<2> and R<3> denote hydrogen, a double bond or an oxirane ring, R<4> and R<5> represent a hydroxyl or carbonyl group, -O-alkyl, -O-alkenyl, -O-C(O)-alkyl, -O-C(O)-alkenyl or -O-C(O)-phenyl in which the phenyl radical can be substituted, or R<4> and R<5> can together form a ketal, and their physiologically tolerable salts; methods for the preparation of these decarestrictin derivatives, and their use as pharmaceuticals having antibacterial, antiviral and hypolipidaemic action. |
