<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate bad influence of an exhaust pressure on whole of a water passage by providing the throttle part in the vicinity of the water charging port of the water passage, and an unidirectional valve which allow water to flow only from a water tank side to the water charging port side, adjacently to the throttle part. CONSTITUTION:When it is judged based on a throttle opening and an engine speed that a control condition is brought about where pressure pulsative conditions in each of the exhaust pipe show unconformity, one or both of a valve motor 44 and a water pump 32 are operated, as required. A resonance chamber valve 43 of each resonance chamber 22 is opened by the valve motor 44. Water in a water tank 50 is press-fed to a main pipe by the operation of the water pump 32. When the water-sending pressure exceeds a set value, the water is branched into bilateral collective pipes, further branched into branch pipes, and sent to check valves 24. In case that the water-feeding pressure exceeds a value set at the check valve, the water is charged from each of a nozzle part 46 of water charging pipes 23 to exhaust pipes. At this time, contraflow of water is prevented by the check valve 24 of the water charging pipe 23, which contraflow may occur from a side of a jet part 45 determining a required water charging rate into the water charging pipe 23.</p> |
