The invention concerns a device for sealing joints (16) between concrete components, e.g. the joints between assembled sewer pipes (10, 11). The invention calls for instance for annular sealing strip (14) made of a prepolymer of, for example polyurethane. After assembling the pipes, the polymerization process is initiated, for instance by means of a heating wire located in the sealing ring (14), thus causing the prepolymer to foam and the joint (16) to be sealed off on completion of the polymerization process. |
