Device constituting a novel background lamp. The invention relates to a device, providing background lighting, which can be oriented in different directions, and having an aesthetic nature. It consists of a rectangular frame (1) having an upper part (2) and a lower part (3) which are provided with slats (4) and an empty central region (5) inside which a rectangular swingleaf (6) is placed, itself also provided with slats (7). The swingleaf (6) is fixed to the frame (1) by two hinges (10) on its upper part; a latch (11) joining the lower part of the swingleaf (6) to the frame (1) allows it to be opened and closed, and a hook (12) fixed to the frame (1) holds the swingleaf (6) open. The frame (1) and the swingleaf (6) are held in an oblique position by a vertical back (13) and a base support (14) themselves fixed to one another. The illumination device (15) is arranged on the base support (14), and the vertical back (13) may act as a support for graphical representations. The device according to the invention provides harmonious lighting with variable orientation, is of an aesthetic nature and may be used as an advertising panel. <IMAGE> |
