PORTABLE TELEPHONE SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To provide a portable telephone system in which a power amplifier of a power amplification booster is operated in a suitable state when the portable telephone set is connected to the power amplification booster so as to implement the transmission of multistage changeover with the same standard as that of an automobile telephone set. CONSTITUTION:When a portable telephone set A is connected to a power amplifier booster B, an output of a power amplifier 18 of the power amplifier booster B is detected by a detector 23 and a detection output is fed to a voltage comparator 13 of the portable telephone set A via a changeover device 12. The voltage comparator 13 compares the signal with a reference voltage changing corresponding to a transmission output control signal 11 and sends a control voltage to a power controller 6 of the portable telephone set A. The power controller 6 controls the exciting output of the power amplifier 3, that is the portable telephone set A with a control output to operate the power amplifier 18 of the power amplifier booster B suitably.
