<p>PURPOSE:To speedily and efficiently performs a window process. CONSTITUTION:A window buffer memory 13 has two addresses, i.e., X and Y addresses and its storage area is divided into plural rectangular areas 1-8 which differ in size. Then a CPU when storing data of a window in the window buffer memory selects the smallest rectangular area 8 wherein the data can all be stored according to information regarding the sizes of the respective rectangular areas, etc., and stores the data. When the rectangular area becomes empty, the CPU searches for a window which is larger than the empty rectangular area after the data are stored and can store all the data in the empty rectangular area, and transfers the window data to the empty rectangular area.</p> |
