PURPOSE:To obtain a photographing device provided with an autofocusing device which smoothly executes focusing operation and attains accurate autofocusing operation. CONSTITUTION:This photographing device is provided with a focus detection means 14 for detecting the defocusing amount of a photographing system, a zooming position detection means 16 for detecting the zooming position of a variable power part, a focusing position detection means 17 for detecting the focusing position of a focusing lens, an arithmetic means 15 for calculating the moving amount of the focusing lens and a driving means 13 for driving the focusing lens. In the case of starting the focusing operation from a zooming range and a focusing range previously set, the arithmetic means 15 inputs a signal for driving the focusing lens to the outside of the zooming range and the focusing range in the means 13 regardless of a signal from the means 14. |
