<p>PURPOSE:To constitute the personal computer so that only a CPU board can be electromagnetically shielded easily, and also, a voltage of only the CPU board can be lowered easily. CONSTITUTION:A CPU board 100 consisting of a microprocessor and a main memory 105, and an I/O board 200 consisting of a serial interface and an FDD interface, etc., are constituted as each separate module. In such a state, the CPU board 100 is operated by a CPU clock of a high speed, and the I/O board 200 is operated by an I/O clock of a low speed, therefore, a timing converting circuit 108 is provided between both the boards. In such a way, the CPU board 100 and the I/O board 200 can be designed and developed separately, and also, by varying the combination, a new product can be designed simply.</p> |
