PURPOSE:To obtain an image forming device which can selects the copy position of the head or tail page of a document in feeding order on the both sides of copy paper without decreasing the operation efficiency of a copying process. CONSTITUTION:The image forming device is equipped with a switch-back carrying path 29 for the transfer paper discharged from a fixation device, an inverting carrying path 30 which has an inversion part for an image surface in a paper refeeding path, a switching lug 32 which switches the attitudes of paper feeding to the respective conveyance paths, an operation and display part which selects a multiple copy mode and whether or not the feeding order of the document corresponds to paper order, a detection part for the number of fed documents, and a control part which has its input side connected to the operation and display part and its output side connected to the driving system of the device; when the mode of copying from a one-sided document to both surfaces of the transfer paper is selected, the control part sets the carrying attitude of the transfer paper so that the copy position of the head or tail page of the document can be selected on either of the top and reverse surfaces of the transfer paper. |
