TELEPHONE NUMBER REGISTRATION DEVICE FOR TELEPHONE SET, AND ITS REGISTRATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone number registration device for telephone set that can attain voice registration of a telephone number and a name in one- to-one correspondence with each other during a speech. SOLUTION: A speech signal between a phone interface section 21 connected to a telephone set 1 and a line interface section 22 connected to a subscriber line 51 is subjected to two-wire/four-wire conversion and a voice recognition section 24 respectively recognizes a received voice and a transmission voice. When the registration device detects that numeral information is repeated in the transmission voice from a user of the telephone set 1 corresponding to numeral information in the received voice from a speech opposite party (phone 6), the registration device recognizes voice information succeeding to the numeral information to be a name and a storage section 26 stores the telephone number and the name in one-to-one correspondence with each other. The user can read the registered telephone number and name by a display section 27.
