PURPOSE:To obtain conversion word candidates by type classifications by providing this device with a dictionary part, a sorting means, a candidate forming means and a candidate output means. CONSTITUTION:The dictionary part 14 stores reading information and conversion word information corresponding to the reading information and the conversion word information corresponding to the reading information inputted from an input part 11 is outputted. The conversion word information stored in the dictionary part 14 is sorted by a sorting means in each previously set type and at the time of forming the conversion word information corresponding to the input reading information by a candidate output means while referring to the dictionary part 14, its candidates are outputted by a candidate output means in accordance with the sorted type information. Thus, the candidates of the conversion word information corresponding to the input reading information are outputted by type classifications. Even if many conversion word candidates are present thereon, a required conversion word can be selected out of the conversion word candidates in a required type without hesitating it. Consequently the efficiency of conversion is improved. |
