PURPOSE:To obtain read output data equal to that read from an optional address by reading data for a horizontal period so as to overlap read periods partly from plural read ports and connecting the data. CONSTITUTION:A selector 14 reads video data for a 1st horizontal period from a read port 1 of a video data memory 13 for serial access by the input operation from a key entry section 15, reads video data for a 2nd horizontal period from a read port 2 while overlapping partly the video data for the 1st horizontal period. Then video data for 1st and 2nd horizontal periods are outputted while being connected at an optional point of time selected from the parallel read periods. Through the constitution above, only the video data memory 13 for serial access is in use to obtain a read output equal to that read from an optional address and since it is not required to use other RAM, the configuration is simplified. |
