PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a modified tap water and a modification method for tap water which modify water of comparatively high hardness containing residual chlorine to be suitable for drinking, face washing and breeding/feeding of animals and plants in a simple and easy way without using a special equipment. SOLUTION: Tap water is modified by blending taurine and the modification method for tap water characterized by blending taurine is provided.
