<p>Appts. to grind gardening and similar waste material, for composting, has a motorised machinery with built-on units for initial compression, holding, feed and grinding of the fresh or partially rotted material. A spreader belt for the ground material is set at an adjustable angle for delivery to one side of the direction of travel to spread a layer on a clamp. A sieve and sacking unit can be built on or added as an attachment when needed. Pref. the grinder (GF) is a pair of tined rollers on vertical axes, rotating against each other. They are mounted on a common lateral yoke (Q) with an adjustable angular (beta) setting to one side, to the material or clamp side (MF), fitted to the whole assembly (V). The lateral yoke has an upper (Q) and lower plate-shaped frame for the axes of the grinding rollers (GF). The initial compressor (VD), in the direction (VF) of travel, is in front of or pref. at the same level over the grinding rollers (GF), with a motor drive or powered by a moving pressure roller. At least one section of all the units has a separate hydraulic drive and/or belt or chain drive links to a central drive. On grinding, the grinding rollers (GF) rotate at high speed, and at a slow speed when moving a clamp (I). The swing movement is through a holding arm or through a rim gear for the whole assembly (V) mounted to a wheeled or tracked vehicle (FW). The lateral yoke (Q) and grinding rollers (GF) can be suspended from a crane for a composting hall.</p> |
