The insulating material in a loose state is washed, then immersed in a boron salt soln. bath at 60 deg.C. After immersion, the material is dried. The impregnated material is worked into a fleece of pref. 15 cm thickness and fixed by accommodating in a net stocking. USE - To produce insulating material from sheep wool.
