The machine is equipped with material feed, clamping and cutting machinery together with a power source for turning the machine and the material to be cut during the cutting process. The guide sleeve (5) is swivel mounted at the end (21) of the machine to swing on a vertical axis against the action of a spring. Two control cylinders (15,16) one on either side of the sleeve activate the swing movement. USE/ADVANTAGE - The swing sleeve also acts as a stop for the material being fed into the machine so that precisely the same length is measured every time.
