Adjustable internal hip joint prosthesis

The internal hip joint prosthesis has an adjustable head (5) joined to a stem (3) fixed in the thigh bone.The head has an adjuster (23) with slide (7) working in a fixed guide (4), and on which the supporting body (9) of a ball-head (6) is secured, being adjustably supported from the guide by an intermediate plate (8). The locks (21, 22) for the adjuster are secured in place by a clamp passing through them.The head contains a (28) limiter for the load transmitted by the prosthesis.
