The circuit for improving data transmission speed between the key- phone main system and the terminal unit by employing a simple differential modulation method comprises the steps: that system controller (10) outputs serial data stream and selects one of multi terminal outports; that serial data is reverse buffered by the buffer 1 circuit (20) and transmitted through the designated mux (40) channel selected by system controller (10); and that output from multiplexer is differentially modulated by the modulation coupler (50). The receiver includes a demodulator (30) for demodulating a transmitted signal and transmitting a data stream to system controller.
