PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition containing an N-acyl compound, a higher fatty acid, etc., excellent in low irritation, foamability and touch of foam, free from a cramp feeling during or after use and excellent in smooth touch. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition contains (A) 40 to 99wt.% (preferably 50 to 95wt.%) compound of the formula (R<1>CO is a 10 to 16C straight chain acyl,), (B) 1 to 60wt.% (preferably 5 to 50wt.%) of one or more compounds selected from higher fatty acids (e.g. lauric acid or myristic acid) and higher alcohols (e.g. myristyl alcohol) and, as necessary, a humectant, a surfactant, etc. |
