<p>PURPOSE:To maintain an anaerobic state by driving a blower so as to return oxidation-reduction potential to a set value when oxidation-reduction potential in the liquid phase part of a reactor exceeds the set value and/or the time derivation of oxidation-reduction potential is positive and reducing the introduced amount of a pump for raw water. CONSTITUTION:The oxidation-reduction potential of a reactor 3 and a tank 4 for water to be treated is measured at any time by oxidationreduction potential measuring parts 7a, 7b. Thereby the change in oxidation-reduction potential is monitored by an arithmetic controlling device 9. The time derivation of oxidation-reduction potential is calculated at every time by the arithmetic controlling device 9. When the derivation is positive and oxidation-reduction potential of each time exceeds preset value, a blower 8 is driven to introduce fermentation gas stored in a gas holder 6 into the reactor 3 and the liquid phase part of the tank 4. Moreover the flow rate of a pump 2 for raw water is reduced in accordance with the rate of change in oxidation-reduction potential. Thereby the oxidation reduction potential is regulated to the set value.</p> |
