摘要 PURPOSE:To decide hardness of a bone, and to enhance safety and reliability of a surgical operation by providing a means for obtaining a bone part image for showing a bone part and a cavity part image for showing a cavity part existing in the bone part from image information which can discriminate the bone part, and deriving a ratio of a cavity part area to a bone part area. CONSTITUTION:From magnetic disk, one slide data in original three-dimensional image data having prescribed picture element level width containing a bone area, and a cavity area (bone inside hole) existing in the inside of a bone is inputted to an image processing part, and first of all, a binarization processing is executed by a binarization processing part 21, and a binary image consisting of a bone part and other part than bone is obtained. Subsequently, in a hole filling-up processing part 22, a hole filling-up processing is executed in order to fill up the bone inside hole of the binary image, a hole filled-up image is obtained, and thereafter, in a noise elimination processing part 23, a noise part is eliminated with respect to the hole filled-up image. Next, from a bone area image and a bone inside hole image obtained by a bone area extraction processing part 25 and a bone inside hole extraction processing part 24, respectively, a three-dimensional bone hardness image is obtained by three-dimensional image processing part 26, and also, a ratio of a cavity part area to the bone part area is derived.
