PURPOSE:To make it possible to house separately foodstuffs whose housing condition differs if it is necessary by generating an alarm signal when an inside temperature exceeds a high temperature alarm temperature or when it fails to exceed a low alarm temperature and enable either the high alarm temperature or the low alarm temperature to be set at the least. CONSTITUTION:A microcomputer 20 controls relays 16 and 19 which control the power supply to a motor-driven compressor 11 and a solenoid valve 18. The microcomputer 20 is provided with a defrosting timer 20e and a first timer 20f and a second timer 20g which time-count until the time when high temperature and low temperature alarm signals are generated from the time when an inside temperature reached the high and low alarm temperatures. The microcomputer 20 is connected to an inside temperature sensor 23, a temperature setting switch 25, an alarm setting switch 26, temperature rise and drop switches 27 and 28 and an alarm 33. When the inside temperature exceeds the high alarm temperature or fails to exceed the low alarm temperature, the alarm 33 is actuated while the high and low alarm temperatures are made variable and set-free by means of the alarm setting switch 26. |
