Aeration and nutrient intermix comprising means for infinately variable or zero rates of flow to individual channels (4) within a hydroponics growing system and provision for altering the liquid level depths in each channel whilst producing, automatically, full aeration and nutrients intermix of the liquid within the system. Furthermore, the effective use of the spice within a hydroponics channel is increased by the use of a Demountable Plant Carrier (10) allowing infinite re-spacing of plants growing within a channel without damage, whilst retaining a covering for the channel to exclude light and extraneous airborn matter. The Plant Carrier has additional facility for installing or removing plants with neglible damage to root or foliage, and facility for a Weir where the channel is installed on gradient or with excessive fall (24). |
