Method for and implementation of the adjustment of the power consumption of an electrical system, in which system there are circuits MCU, 1-3 which are controlled by some clock signal. According to the method there is monitoring of the condition of and the processing power requirement in the circuits MCU, 1-3 in the system and in the blocks 21-23 in the circuits, which circuits MCU, 1-3 and blocks 21-23 are controlled by some clock signal or alternatively only monitoring of the condition of and the processing power requirement in the blocks 21-23 in the abovementioned circuits 2 in the system. The clock frequency of such a circuit MCU, 1-3 or such a block 21-23 in the system, which has a condition and processing power requirement which permits a smaller frequency is changed to a smaller frequency. The clock frequency of such a circuit MCU, 1-3 or such a block 21-23 in the system, which has a condition and processing power requirement which requires an increase of the clock frequency is changed to a greater frequency. <IMAGE> |
