The present invention concerns concrete-based surfacing used for repair and new laying of roads and other surfaces, for example exhibition grounds and traffic- carrying surfaces in industry and industrial floors, harbours and air fields, and a method for producing this surfacing. The surfacing is obtained by laying out on a base and packing together a lower layer of uniform stone material, with a ratio between largest and smallest particles of at most about 3:0, filling a high-quality cement mortar into the cavities located between the stone particles and vibrating it down in such a way that a rough top surface is formed on the lower layer, and subsequently applying a surface-levelling cement-based top layer of concrete on top of the lower layer. |
