PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for an instruction considering the lateral width of a sheet, to improve operability and to save the sheet by automatically developing data to be printed out to so-called vertical writing or horizontal writing based upon the lateral width of the sheet. CONSTITUTION:A judging means 104 compares the longitudinal size of a frame with its lateral size to judge whether the frame is longitudinally long or laterally long and when the frame is longitudinally long as the result of the judgement, a comparing means 105 compares the longitudinal size of the frame with the lateral width of the sheet which is stored in a sheet size storing means 101. When the frame is laterally long, the means 105 compares the lateral size of the frame with the lateral width of the sheet stored in the means 101. When the frame is longitudinally long and the lateral width of the sheet is longer as the result of the comparison or when the frame is laterally long and the lateral width of the sheet is shorter, a rotating means 106 converts the information of the frame stored in an input information storing means 103 into a printing image, rotates the converted image by 90 deg. and a printing means 107 prints out the rotated image. |
