The mounting system for attaching a wheel on the rim of a vehicle wheel comprises a plastics element (11), which is shaped in one single piece with the wheel disc (12). The plastics element comprises a peripheral thin flange (13), with radially directed parts (14), between which are beads (16) fastened in the flanges. The outer surface (17) of the bead mates in the recess of the rim, so that the disc is located. The bead also has a recess (18) against which a resilient retaining ring (19) rests. The ring extends round the whole periphery of the wheel disc, but is split at one point. |
