<p>PURPOSE:To perform gradation corresponding to an application and a buried object by storing plural gradation conversion curves previously, and selecting one of the stored gradation conversion curves according to a reflection signal to perform gradation. CONSTITUTION:Beams are radiated toward a structure from an antenna 2 through a transmitting circuit 1 to scan the structure, and its reflection is received by a receiving antenna 3 and inputted into an A/D converter 5 through a receiving circuit 4. Conversion into a digital signal is performed at a converter 5, and this signal is inputted into a gradation converter 6, where gradation corresponding to the intensity of the signal is performed. At the time of performing this gradation, the gradation difference is made large at the weak part of the reflection signal and easy at the strong part of the signal by a ROM table 11 previously stored with plural gradation conversion curves. Accordingly, even in the case of various buried objects being buried in the complicated position relation, the existence thereof can be displayed clearly on a CRT 10.</p> |
