PURPOSE:To complete all to all communication in a short time in a parallel computer and its all to all communication method in which large number of processors are connected with an n-dimensional torus network. CONSTITUTION:When a parallel computer is provided with the n-dimensional torus network 15 with the rectangular parallelopiped shape of a1Xaz X...Xan, prescribed transmission/reception phases of amaxP(where, P: the number of processors)/4 in a single direction channel, and the ones of a,.P/8 in bidirectional channel are managed and transmission destination information in each phase is held with by a phase managing means 11. A message transmission processing means 13 performs message transmission to a transmission destination processor in each phase according to the managing information of the phase managing means 11. Thereby, the all to all communication can be completed when the message transmission in all the phases are completed. |
