The double floor has height-adjustable supports with head plates, and square-section tubes forming a supporting grid. These are secured at their top edges to the head plates and extend between the supports. Floor plates rest at their corners on the head plates and at their edges on the grid tubes. The tubes (15) also rest on rings (14) adjustable for height on the supports (10). At their bottom end edges (19) they are joined to sleeves (21) height-adjustable on the supports and which rest on the rings or are integral with them.
