The anti-theft protection system uses an onboard computer or processor in which a security code is entered for identifying the authorised user of the vehicle, with an alarm signal supplied when the authorisation is not provided. A silent alarm is provided by a number of transmitters, incorporated in structural components (1..10) of the vehicle body, e.g. the door posts or windscreen surround, to prevent their removal. Pref. the transmitters are incorporated in the vehicle structural components at randomly selected positions, contained within an insulating casing with electrical connections for coupling it to the onboard computer or processor. ADVANTAGE - Prevents removal of alarm transmitters without total destruction of vehicle structure.
