The iron features a boundary wall (13) between the water container (4) and the connection to the evaporation chamber (2). The wall (13) forms an intermediate basin (14) and there are means (7) for keeping the water level in the basin constant. ADVANTAGE - The iron has a simple structure, is easy to assemble and reacts sensitively to ironing movements.
