Supply and distribution of portions of bread dough to fermentation chambers. Portions of dough are fed into a vertically suspended 'U' shaped guide duct which articulates about an axis at its upper end close to the supply of dough. The lower end of the tube described an arc which which passes over the areas where the portions of dough are to be deposited. A motor, connected to a crank and connecting rod, provides the oscillating motion. Extending partitions aligned with the radius of the arc describes separate the areas to be filled. The guide duct can be replaced by one or two fixed walls and two oscillating walls.
