<p>Snap connection system for detachably connecting parts of a unit, in particular for fixing a plastic cover (66) on a plastic body (67) of an electrical installation box (65). The snap connection system comprises a resilient latching hook (1;21;36;50) fixed to a first part (40;66) of the unit to be connected, a latching lug (8;28;41;57) fixed to a second part (43;67) of the unit to be connected, and at least one resilient unlatching hook (12;31;42;54). The latching hook (1;21;36;50) and the latching lug (8;28:41;57) being in a locking engagement when the parts (40;43) of the unit are connected, and in its unlocked state the unlatching hook (12;31;42;54) being in engagement with the latching hook (1;21;36;50) near the longitudinal edge (20) thereof, until the parts (40,43;66,67) of the unit are detached. The engaging parts of the latching elements are arranged near the connecting interface (44) of the first and second part (40,43;66;67) of the unit.
