摘要 The converter is applied in digital equipment, in particular, the parallel analogue/digital converters. It is simplified and has fast response and directly converts the thermomertic into natural binary code. The converter is made of NOR and OR gates, organized in comparison groups, whose number smaller by unity than the number of the output converter bytes. The last byte of the thermometric code (X7) is connected to the input of OR logical element (5) from the first group, whose output is the most junior outgoing byte (YA) of the converter. The remaining bits of the thermometric code (X1, X2, X3, X4, X5 and X6) are connected to the corresponding inputs of NOR gates (1, 2 and 3) from the first group, whose outputs are connected to the remaining OR gate inputs (5). Each second bit of the thermometric code (X2, X4 and X6) is connected to the second comparison group. The last of these bits (X6) is connected to the input of the OR gate (6) from the second group, the output of which is the second in significance binary output bit (YB) of the transformer. The remaining bits of the thermometric code (X2 and X4) are connected with the corresponding inputs of NOR (4) gate from the second group, whose output is connected with the input of the OR gate (6). The central byte of the thermometer code (X4) is the most senior binary output bit (YC) of the converter.<IMAGE>
