A speaker system is provided to implement a various sound field effect by generating a sound towards a front direction or front and rear directions according to a selection of a user. A speaker system includes a body(10). A front panel(20) is coupled with a front surface of the body, so the front panel is slid. A first speaker unit(30) is formed at the front surface of the front panel to generate a sound. A second speaker unit is formed at a rear surface of the front panel to generate a sound. The front panel is coupled with the body for the front panel to be vertically slid. The first speaker unit is formed at a front lower portion of the body. The second speaker unit is formed at a rear upper portion of the front panel. A hole(21) or a grill is formed at the lower portion of the front panel for a sound generated from the first speaker unit to be spread.
