Method for producing the fiber, whose fineness of fibril after removal of the continuous-state component is 0.05-0.001 den. and the number of fibrils is 100-1,000, comprises: blending two polymer components of greatly different viscosity with each other, e.g. dispersed-state component of fiber-forming polyamide of relative viscosity of 2.0-3.0, and 30-50 wt.% of continuous-state component of poly ethylene of melt-index (MI) of 10-40 at the blending spinneret apparatus; melt spinning the blended polymer; and finally drawing. This method ensures greatly improved workability.
