PAPER SIZE CHECKING CONTROL METHOD FOR FAX

The facsimile detects the size of a manuscript when a manuscript is set and current mode is set by a sending mode. The method comprises the modes: (A) turning off photo reflector (PR) and LED (PD4) of a sensor unit (10) and returning to standby mode when a manuscript is not set or current mode is not a sending mode; (B) turning on a photo reflector (PR) and a LED (PD4); checking that a photo sensor (PS4) is turned on; (C) turning off a photo reflector (PR) and storing that a size of a manuscript is A3 photosensor is not turned on; (D) turning off an LED (PD4) and executing sending program; (E) turning off an LED (PD4) when a photosensor (PS5) is turned on; (F) detecting the size of manuscript by checking the turn on or off state of a photo reflector; and (G) turning off the photo reflector and executing sending program.
