<p>PURPOSE:To eliminate the change of charge quantity and provide an electrostatic charge imparting agent resistant to mechanical drop and thermal deterioration by enhancing the solubility to a thermoplastic resin in a toner. CONSTITUTION:An electrostatic charge imparting agent is formed of at least one kind of the group consisting of linearly irregularly arranged acrylamide copolymers consisting of 65-99 mole % of an ethylene unit represented by a formula I, 1-15 mole % of an acrylate unit represented by a formula II, and 1-35 mole % of an acrylamide unit represented by a formula III, organic salts thereof, and cationic acrylamide copolymers in which the acrylamide unit of the acrylamide copolymer has the form of a ternary ammonium salt, and the weight average molecular weight is 1000-50000. In the formulae I and II, R<1> represents an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms, R<2> represents an alkylene group having 2-8 carbon atoms, R<3> and R<4> each represent an alkyl group having 1-4 carbon atoms.</p> |
