PURPOSE:To allow the terminal equipment of a certain participant to acquire the right of drawing without interposition of the chairman by pushing the specified area of a tablet input device with a pen at the own terminal equipment. CONSTITUTION:When the participant pushes a certain are in a tablet input device 62 with the input pen, a tablet-on signal is sent from the device 62 to a control part 10. A CPU 67 detects the state of a drawing right acquisition flag 11 provided at one part of a RAM 19. When the flag 11 shows '0', a drawing right acquisition request signal is transmitted to the other terminal equipment for participant connected to the video conference system. At such a time, when any terminal equipment is just under acquiring the right of drawing, a BUSY is returned from that terminal equipment. After the lapse of prescribed time, the CPU 67 transmits the request signal again. When no BUSY signal is returned from the other terminal equipment even after the lapse of fixed time, the CPU 67 sets the flag 11 to '1' and the LED of a display part 12 is turned on. The participant pushing the area with the input pen executes following drawing input by using the device 62. |
